About Jonathan...

Hej friends,

I'm an apprentice to the world, bad breath, full belly, and a fine tune in my ear. I am stuck in germany's capital of narcissism, Cologne, where I study the ways of the indigeneous populace. I might share a couple of my observations with you.

Coffee's my beverage, Dylan, Gaga and Chabon my prophets. I'm a nurse by trade, rest- and rootless by dna and a rickety singer by choice.

I have an inveterate love for words and languages. So I am always happy to receive content in your mother tongue, even if I can't read or understand it. It will be a thrill to start the process of deciphering. Also, what's your favorite word?

You're welcome to drag out the tackiest postcard you can find and send it my way. I enjoy advertisements for useless products, as well. Or black/white historical postcards, the grainy kind with the sandpaper haptic you'd find on flea markets. Or religious stuff (from rabbi schneerson to krishna, from quran quotes to angel moroni).

Any Hebrew, Persian or Yiddish speakers out there who are interested in being pen pals?

------

July 19th 2018: I just received a wonderfully tacky postcard of a bathing baby, somewhere from the US, probably the east coast. From Amy? The code was stamped upon by the post office and I can't read or register it - if you're out there, write me :)
