Hello :)

I've always loved to send and receive postcards. I also love travelling but right now I don't have time or money to spare but I hope that will change in time.
I like reading, listening to music, writing, history & geography, discussing and speculating about books I've read (especially everything Tolkien, Rivers of London series, A Song of Ice and Fire, Thursday Next series), learning new languages, geocaching, cycling, swimming and hiking.

IMPORTANT! My favourites are cards I'd LIKE to receive, or examples of what I like. That doesn't mean you absolutely have to send me one of my favourites though. I'm not too picky about the postcards I receive.

Other than that:
- interesting gates & alleyways
- doors
- bridges
- poppies, lavender
- ravens
- umbrellas

- weather (especially rain and storms and thunderstorms)
- landscape: nature in general, and mountains and lakes in particular
- map cards (e.g. subway, city, county, country)

- everything Tolkien
- things typical for your country
- Northern Soul

or: write about your favourite book and why I should read it - preferably written by one of your native authors because I am always on the look-out for writers I don't know yet (and I freely admit that there are very many, despite being an avid reader)

or: your favourite recipe (preferably vegetarian or vegan)
