I am a hospice RN living on beautiful Vancouver Island, BC Canada. I have a 10 month old beagle puppy Dexter.
I am a bit of a workoholic so my hobbies are very few. When I do have free time I love to travel. I love the outdoors! Being near the water and animals are two things that make me most content. Letter writing and meeting new people are a recent passion of mine. Love to cook and entertain :)

I was given some great advice to help out my fellow postcrossing friends to list a few things I might be interested in as themes for my postcards. (I will update this as time goes on :)

First off, I am grateful to anyone who takes the time to send me a post card :). The thought comes first :)

If you are looking for ideas of what I like here are a few suggestions:

Overseas friends: touristy/cultural .... something about why you love the country or area that you live

- animals:. Frogs, beagles/hounds, giraffes/safari animals are my favourite, but I love all animals. Love Teddy bears and dragon flies.

-Medical themed - nurses/hospitals ...or cutesy like Betty Boop as a nurse, or other silly nurse/doctor jokes/cartoons/sayings etc

I love positive uplifting themes, or humourous/silly as well ...

Things I would love to hear about on your postcards would be why you chose this particular card. And a little bit about you that you feel comfortable sharing. Still stuck? How about a favorite recipe :)
