Hi there! My name is Julia and I iive in Helsinki, the capital Helsinki. Practically I never send postcards and I really miss the old golden times of pen pals – so I wanted to give a try for postcrossing.

I work as a multimedia journalist - I do radio, tv, social media and web articles. I really enjoy my job. I'm creative and visual person, and I like to express myself both in work and in freetime. In leisure time I love to travel, photograph, walk in the nature (I love the arctic hills of Lapland and Finnish lakes) or just hang around with my friends. I also love theatre – both as a spectator and an amateur actor.

I hope that you handwrite your card and write something personal in it. I'm interested in, for example, some random fact about your home place or what you are feeling at the moment of writing and what's going on in your life (even if it's negative). Or a insider travel tip about your country would also be great.

My fav postcard themes are vintage, mushrooms, photography, naive or weird illustrations, old maps, mystic landscapes, diy, foxes, hedgehogs and other cute animals. If the card in some way represents your country or culture, it would be great. I like both colourful and b&w cards.

I don't care about generic tourist postcards, flower cards or humour cards. But anyway, I don't want you to take any stress. Just send me something. It'll brighten my day anyway.
