I am an 90-year-old retired nursery school teacher. I spent my retirement years with my grown-up children who worked first in Shanghai, China then Singapore. Now after many years away, I am back home in the Philippines.

I love mail but sadly, people today find this an antiquated and useless activity. When I was younger, this was the only way to keep in touch (hardly any phones then too). That's why it's such a pleasure for me to discover Postcrossing.

I will appreciate any postcard you will send me -- but no ad cards please. Kindly tell me about yourself, your town, your city, or your country. Or you can tell me about your favorite book or movie or something that made you smile today.

I look forward to your postcard eagerly!

PS: These days, I have some difficulty writing by hand. Please excuse the penmanship (I may ask someone to scribble for me).
