Hi I live at Dundee Beach in the Northern Territory of Australia. Dundee Beach is a small, isolated, bush community 200kms from Darwin, with only 300 people and lots of wildlife. No shops and no public buildings, except The Lodge of Dundee, a tiny tourist pub, with basic accommodation and meals. Dundee is renouned for its great fishing.
There are postboxes at the Lodge where we collect our mail once a week. Purchasing stamps, posting mail and shopping is done in Darwin.
I am an ex teacher, full time wildlife carer and part time fine arts student. I love the bush and enjoy caring for orphaned and injured native wildlife... animals, birds, reptiles. My greatest joy is releasing wildlife back to the bush when grown/well. It is even more wonderful when they return to visit me, often with a baby to show off.
I would love to hear about your country and yourself. Any kind of postcard will be happily received, including handmade and photographs. Pictures of animals from your country would be especially nice.
