I was born in Portugal, my hometown is Torres Novas (New Towers) land of fig and olive trees. We got a castle built in the 11th century, and ancient buildings in ruins of the Roman Empire.
I am a teacher, which is very complicated in these times where it seems nothing is important and serious, everything happens very quickly,the values are always changing, and we got no time to do what we really want.
My best desires of life, are connected with culture and nature.
In the first one, I like to visit historical monuments,city views, architectural attractions, and art in a general way. The second one, I really love ecological sceneries and landscapes. I am also, a part time bird breeder, and a photografy lover.
As a mediterrean man, I appreciate the pleasures of life, I mean travelling, cooking, and some sport. Sometimes I use to listening good old fashion music, I mean rock and folk, such as Bob Dylan, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Dire Straits, Simon and Garfunkel, Leonard Cohen... About movies I prefer Spielberg, Woody Allen, Al Pacino, Dustin Hoffman...
Concerning postcards, I would like if possible, receive cards that show what the world is like, it will allow me to see through your eyes what other places are like. After 8 years on this project I became a bit more selective and now I prefer special, original, unique cards, also cute, funny, mystery, weird with some meaning...and more views with people working, walking, dancing, than monuments, palaces, museums ... But fell free to send, historical or culture subjects, music/movie cards, city views, seaside, curiosities, mysterious places, I like to receive surprises and write something about yourself and your way of living. A postcard is always a emotional piece of our heart and soul.
Lately, I started to make some creative funny cards. If you want to swap with me, just let me know.
If it´s possible, please no more multi view cards, paintings or draws of old churches or some cities, or monuments, Christmas, Eastern, cartoons for children. However, I love cartoons with a pedagogic meaning
