Hello Post crossers!

My name is Inge and I'm nearly 40 years old. I live in Belgium and I'm a teacher of Dutch and German.

My hobbies are writing, playing the piano, looking after my kids, nature, making cosy corners in the house, etc. I love tea and I would like to know more about the way you live and why you write.

I write children's books and stories for children and young adults, next year there will be a book about dragons and another about a girl who loses a sister in a car accident. My stories have been translated into Korean, Chinese, Portuguese. Secretly I hope that one of them will be translated into German or English or may be Finnish or French!

I also love to read, to knit a shawl or to crochet something. Love cosy wintery evenings, staying cosy inside, curled up in front of a good movie or playing a game with my husband and kids.

We also have pets, a black cat called Mona, a grey rabbit with long ears called Flappie, a black chicken called Gertrude, a black fish called Alfred and we are waiting impatiently for our new member of the family, a blonde labrador retriever, who will be called Ginny ;-)

I love all kinds of music, but I mostly listen in the car on the way to school or when I have to pick up the kids. I love classical music, but also modern music like Muse. I'm very fond of opera, my favourite singer is Cecilia Bartoli. My favourite composer is Bach, I like to play the preludes on the piano (not very good, though). I still have piano lessons and after that I'll probably take singing lessons again. I have to keep busy, although I can really enjoy the piece and quiet too.
