About Inez...

**Kindly note that due to COVID-19, mails to some countries can be only be sent via Surface Mail, not Airmail. Take care & stay safe! **

Being close to nature is enjoyable to me. Since I live in the city, growing my own plants on my balcony of my apartment is the way I stay close to nature; going hiking is another way. I also enjoy the water and enjoy sea kayaking, swimming & scuba diving.

In addition, I am trying to grow edible plants (vegetables & some short fruit plants in pots) and playful ones (mimosa, a.k.a. "shy grass") on my window sill & balcony where there are not much direct sunlight.

Any sharing or tips on nice hiking routes, sea kayaking & scuba diving anywhere in the world (e.g. what you like & don't like about it) will be great! Also, information on city apartment gardening (eg. growing vegetables in pots & without much direct sunlight — what to grow & how) are very welcome. Other things that will be nice ---- views of where you are from or have travelled to, street scene, architecture, photography, sculpture, cartoon, & local food. No ad cards or postcards in envelopes please.

I am fluent in English & Chinese, and also know a little bit how to count numbers in German (taught by some medical colleagues for ~3 months over our coffee break, when I was working in the USA).

(Please note that if you send a postcard to me, please do not mark China as the country — just mark “Hong Kong” as the country will do, since HK is a special administrative region and the mail systems worldwide recognize it. If you mark China as the receiving country, even though it’s politically correct, the postcard will probably be lost in mainland China & I won’t get it until it finds its way to Hong Kong.)

Happy postcrossing!
