About Olga...

Hi everybody!
(IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR WHAT I EXPECT FROM A POSTCARD, GO STRAIGHT TO THE 'A HANDFUL OF TIPS' SECTION)
My name is Olga, I'm 23 and I live in Warsaw, the capital of Poland. I study at the University of Warsaw to become an interpreter.
I have a lot of hobbies as I hate being bored.
First of all - literature. Reading, of course, but I love writing my own stories too! Now that I speak several languages, I am able to read the original versions af numerous books, which makes me extremely happy.
I'm also a music fanatic! I play accoustic guitar ans sing. A day without music is a day wasted. I listen to different genres, but what I'm into now is prog rock and americana.
I also like cooking, hiking, travelling, learning new languages, going to opera, drinking tea, and playing video games. I love being alone.
What bores me most is sport. Any kind of it, in fact. And what fascinates me is South America, especially Argentina. I've been there once and I'm looking forward to going back.

A HANDFUL OF TIPS

What I expect from postcards I receive?

PLEASE SEND ME POSTCARDS SIZED 10x15cm OR SMALLER!!! Bigger ones won't fit in the photo album in which I store all the postcards.

Please DO NOT send me this kind of postcards: https://gniezno1966.files.wordpress.com/2011/12/2000-karta-beznominalowa-zjazd-gnieznienski1.jpg

Please DO NOT send me postcards with too many photos. Too many means for me more than four ;) I'm quite pedantic when it comes to the composition of postcards :P

My favourite types of postcards are:
- local food;
- traditional clothing/celebrations from your country/region
- old and vintage postcards;
- motorcycles but only cruisers/choppers;
- the 60s, the 70s or the 80s;
- people, couples;
- cowboys;
- posters;
- historic moments, wars, communism;
- landscapes;
- self-made postcards or photos you have taken.

Envelopes are ok only if you plan to send me a small gift. If not, please write everything on the postcard.

What to write?
Just describe what you did the day you wrote the postcard, write a recipe you would like to share, recommend a book or a band, or write a random fact about you (eg. that you've watched Twilight at the cinema three times).

That's probably all you should know ;)

Happy postcrossing!
Olga
