Hello there!
Aspiring linguist here :) Currently studying Chinese at university. It is my fifth year studying that fabulous language (one year of which I spent in China).

I really adore foreign languages in general so write me something nice in your mother tongue ;) If you don't know what... just write your national proverb or quotation of a famous person from your country.
如果你会说汉语，那就写汉字，我看得懂！：）

As for postcards, all kinds are welcome. However, the best would be something related to YOUR country (and your region), its people, culture, tradition, religion, folklore, landscape, architecture... and so on. Maybe something you're proud of as far as your region is concerned.

I rather dislike receiving postcards showing things that don't have much in common with places they're sent from.

It'll be nice if you date the postcard and write where exactly it comes from (write me your city - I'll be able to find it on a map).

Remember that those above are only suggestions and I actually appreciate every card you send to me ;)
Also, don't hesitate to ask for direct swaps!
