Forgive me for my bad English, please, blah-blah

Hello, my name is Ekaterina (less official version is Katya), I am 20 y.o. and live in Minsk, the capital city of Belarus (you probably heard about it in context of the last European dictatorship, lol. actually it's not that bad, come visit, we have potato draniki, the cheapest vodka ever and Nobel laureate Svetlana Alexievich).

What's about me? I'm finishing studying web-journalism in Belarusian State University, work as an editor in the gaming media igromania.ru (and obviously adore videogames), support feminism & LGBT+ and madly love literature.

If it makes any sense, there's the short list of my favourite authors:
- Donna Tartt (read everything, omg Donna can you please publish your novels more often than once in 10 years);
- J. K. Rowling;
- Mariam Petrosyan (she's genious, try to find her novel 'The Gray House' (Мариам Петросян - "Дом, в котором..."), it's big, but it'll give you a great unforgettable multi-level story and leave with the broken heart);
- Vladimir Nabokov (forget 'Lolita', go check 'Invitation to a Beheading');
- Mikhail Bulgakov;
- Fannie Flagg;
- Harper Lee;
- Astrid Lindgren;
- Barbara Demick (her non-fiction book 'Nothing to Envy: Ordinary Lives in North Korea' is stunning);
- Maryna and Serhiy Dyachenko (idk if it's possible to find them on English, but they are wonderful tale-horror-social-realism storytellers);
- Kathryn Stockett;
- Макс Фрай;
- Neil Gaiman;
- Stieg Larsson;
- C. S. Lewis;
