About Paul...

These are the kinds of card that I'm particularly interested in:

* Advertising cards
* Cards which show old buildings or vehicles
* Night views
* Cards that stand out as being a bit strange or different
* Humour
* Single view maxicards
* Map cards

In general, I'm not that interested in religious cards.

If you can't find something that matches the ideas above, then I'd be very happy with a card that shows the character or culture of the place where you live.

Outside work I read a lot and write from time to time. These days a lot of what I read is digital, and I'm gradually replacing the fiction that I have with ebooks, largely to save shelf space! 800+ books take up a lot of space. However, having just moved across country, I now have just replaced 3 x 2m stacks of boxes full of books with enough shelves for most of them, so moving to digital wasn't the resounding success that I had hoped :)

I've got a variety of art-work, not all of which is on the wall right now - Turner, a couple of abstracts by an Italian artist whose name I don't know and an astronomical photograph. Lots of others, usually by unknown artists.

Music is in the background quite a lot, most from the 70s or 80s (Meatloaf, Tangerine Dream, Seekers amongst others), as well as podcasts and UK humour from the 60s/70s.

I'm happy to do direct swaps if you like. Let me know what kinds of card you likes best and I'll see what I have or what I can find. I can usually get Australian cards, such as animals, landscapes, city views, art, and so far, 2 Unesco sites :) Having recently moved to Brisbane, I'm still looking for places to get nice cards, but I'll find some in the near future.

Unfortunately, like may others, I've had my share of expired cards, but that's how it goes.
