About Bert...

Hello, fellow Postcrossers,

My name is Bert and I have joined Postcrossing after my sister got all these great cards from people all over the world. My mailbox is a bit empty, so I thought I'd help it a bit.

I am a single man without children and without a job. I share a house with my sister. My hobbies include watching tv, collecting things, sleeping (!), reading magazines and walking/cycling in Dutch nature. I love chocolate milk, music from the 80s, cats, forests and my favourite band, Say Lou Lou.

In case you were (un)fortunate enough to draw me as your next Postcrossing "victim", here's some ideas of postcards I'd like to receive:

-beautiful women/models
-stations of all kinds
-anything on my favourite actresses Emma Watson, Jennifer Rubin (you can see her in my profile photo), Beatrice Vendramin.
-Doctor Who
-forests/trees or moors
-birthday cards (around the 13th of March)
-Christmas cards with biblical pictures, and definitely NO Santa Claus or reindeer (around Christmas, obviously)
-giraffes
-Lars, the little polar bear (Kleiner Eisbär)

(Voor Nederlandse Postcrossers: kaarten van hunebedden, kastelen of stations zijn erg welkom!-al mag je natuurlijk ook iets van het bovenstaande sturen)

If you can't find anything fitting these descriptions, you can always send me a card from your hometown, -village or -area!

What I WOULDN'T like to receive are self made cards and/or blasphemous themed cards. They are not appreciated. Also, please don't send me cards from Amsterdam, not even when you live there (unless the train station is on it)!

Please write a little more than just "Happy Postcrossing!" on your card. I would like it if you at least put your own name and the date you sent the card on it. And don't forget the ID number!

I'm looking forward to all your cards!
