Hello to you who are reading my profile! I'm a 22 year old student from Finland. Originally I'm from Western Finland but I've moved a bit up on the west coast (to Oulu) to study. I've always lived near sea and lots of lakes and I think that is also the best thing here. Nothing is better than watching sunrise or sunset on a beach! Nature is also a big thing here in Finland and midnight summer is a must thing to experience during summer in Finland.

Besides nature and its wonders I love languages and cultures! If I could (and had all the time to it!) I would be learning languages and things about interesting countries and cities every day. That is why I would be interested to know more about countries where I get the postcards from. Teach me a bit of your language or share traveling tips or something interesting facts or news with me! New recipes (I loooove cooking and food) and traditions are also fun to learn as I love trying new things.

Another thing I'm passionate about is books and reading. I'm always searching for a good book to read and although my to-read booklist is longer than it should be, I want to find new interesting books and expand my view on those. Lately I've enjoyed Finnish and dystopian scifi type literature but I read everything from chick-lit to horror books. I have many favourite books that I love from Harry Potters to Anne Franks diary. I would love to receive recommendations about writers from all around the world.

What comes to the postcards I would really like to receive real postcards! Handmade postcards are also perfectly fine if they consist of more than a piece of paper with a bit text on it. The perfect card would be something unique with a picture of subject that I'm interested in but also cats, flowers etc. are completely fine. I'm new to this postcrossing thing and I'm really excited to receive postcards from all around the world!
