my name is Helga.

Today I have seen a story about postcrossing in our newspaper. I do not like the post in my mailbox and I hope this is the way to get nice postcards from the whole world.

My husband is Andreas. We are married since 25 years and we have got two girls, Melissa and Annabelle Sophie.

The photo shows my "half-horse" Cashmere, my daugther Melissa own the other half of him. Our other horses are a haflinger, his name is Moritz and a trotter, Karaburan ("Black Storm"). My younger daughter is the owner of them.

Our dogs, Paul and Paula, are twins from a spanish animal shelter. They are a mix of English-Pointer and Spanish-Podenco. And we had got 24 guinea-pigs. The name of the last one was Blume (flower).

23 September 2015: Today I received a card, on which someone asked me, why I have only one favorite with so many obtained postcards. It's very simple: This card was my second, a 3-D map of the United States. I had never seen anything so beautiful and certainly nothing which had traveled so wide before.
Since then I have received so many cards - beautiful cards. They are all my cards and I love them all, because somewhere in the world someone has made an effort pick this card for me, wrote such a lot of nice, thoughtful and funny words, or immortalized a small drawing or pretty stamp on it.
