Hello Postcrossing friends!

I'm a special teacher of early childhood. I live in Helsinki, the capital of Finland. I have three children (who are already adults) and three grandchildren. I spend a lot of time with my third grandchild: 6 years old Lilja (the name is Lily in English).

I like to read books. I'm very interested of literature of education and psychology. I enjoy going to forest and walking seaside. WATER is my favorite element. I like photography and ART and I visit often art museums and exhibitions. I try to find BEAUTY everywhere. Good guide for it is the book of Rob Forbes: "See for Yourself". My hobby is DECORATING home. I like green plants, candles, hanging wall arts, harmonious style and colors. I have a small balcony and it's full of flowers and herbs in the summer. I sit there and read and eat and enjoy the short summertime in Finland.
I'm also interested in politics. I'm a member of the Green Party. My interests are climate change (worried about it), development co-operation, HUMAN EQUALITY. We are all born equal.

I would like to travel a lot to get to know different cultures, to learn about different ways to live, to meet people. So far I have visited only in Europe: UK, France, Estonia, Sweden, Hungary, Spain, Russia. My eldest son with his family, is living in UK, London, so I often visit there. Once I had a holiday in Bahrain. AFRICAn culture is part of my life ( ex-husband was from Kenya).

You might find an idea for a card you send in my interests. Please send a card that you think is BEAUTIFUL or makes you smile! ( I don't like traditional tourist cards.) I have started to collect portraits and pictures of females, cards which the lady is in the main role. Also I like black-white-cards. And please write the date on the card.

It is so wonderful to exchange cards with many people all over the world ! And make FRIENDS! :)

PS. My picture was taken in 2021 in front of the wall where I put the PC cards which I love a lot.
