Hi, my family and I live in Germany and joined postcrossing because we think it's fun and our kids (6 and 4 years) love to get postcards. ;) I am sure they will be thrilled to get postcards from all over the world and learn about the countries, traditions, etc.

We love to travel and even lived in Nebraska, USA for four years. While we lived in the U.S. we've been to Alaska, Hawaii, the Caribbean, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Chicago, New York, Florida, Niagra Falls, many times to the Rocky Mountains for skiing and visited many National Parks, etc.
We've also been to many places in Europe (Austria, Italy, Denmark, Belgium, Greece, etc.) and to Egypt.
Countries we would love to travel to: Iceland, Australia and New Zealand
Tell us about your country and may be it will inspire us to travel there. ;)

Besides travelling we are also interested in:

- anything typical "American" (sports, trucks and old cars, roads, gas stations, diners, signs, mailboxes, coffee shops, etc.)
- farms and any kind of farm equipment (old or new)
- whales, sharks, sea turtles, colorful fishes
- animals and wildlife (e.g. giraffes, hippos, penguins, kangaroos, koala bears, etc.)
- amazing photography/pictures of nature and animals (e.g. mountains, rock formations, lightnings, rainbows, sun, moon, stars, snow, etc.)
- snorkeling, skiing and all other outdoor sports
- sunflowers
- architecture and any amazing looking buildings (old or new)
- childbook illustrations and TV series for children (eg. books of Astrid Lindgren, Pettersson and Findus, Disney movies eg. "Cars", Sesame Street, Muppets Show, Peanuts, etc.)
- retro photography/pictures
- quotes, jokes (if it's in a language other than German or English would you please translate for us)
- books and music (images of books, reading peolpe, dancing people, anything that relates to books and music)
- any funny, humorous, amazing, and/or colorful photography/picture that will put a smile on our faces ;)
