About gracias...

What' up with you guys?

My name is Violet and I live in Taipei. It’s such a joy to send and receive postcards from all over the world. I'd love to hear something about you and what your life is like, tell me something about local culture of country you live in, or just write whatever you want to share with me! Any languages on the postcards are perfectly welcomed as long as there’s English translation of text, since English is the only foreign language I know :P

About the types of postcards I prefer? Well, I usually like the ones less "touristic": Art, people, vintage/retro/black and white, fantasy, cartoon (moomin, furry teddy bear, disney princess, ひみつのアッコちゃん甜蜜小天使, ちびまる子ちゃん櫻桃小丸子, こどものおもちゃ玩偶遊戲), literature, mythology, music, films, guitars, Dutch wooden shoes, interesting or unusal pitctures, etc.

Note: I have a huge obsession with England/Britain/London, things like "the Beatles," double-decker buses, red phone booths, teddy bear, Tower of London & Tower Bridge, mysterious castles/architecture, royalty family, Shakepeare, Beatrix Potter, Charles Dickens, Charlotte Brontë, and the list goes on:) So, you're a British, please, I'd be really excited to receive your cards! But, if you're not, you can also send me things like that, thank you:D

Btw, since I'm super into pop music and a film-goer, feel free to share what YOU like with me, I'd be very happy to hear that! And if you recieve a postcard from me and would like to write back, just message me :]

Please, only real postcards, NOOOOOOO handmade or ad/free cards, holiday cards during the RIGHT season is okay, and sorry I don’t expect to receive dressed-up cats or dogs, kissing kids, flowers, stuff like that. But really, any kind you'd like to send me will be just fine. I'm always happy to see interesting stamps with or w/o envelope, too. :) Also, please date the card, thanks!
