About Nina...

Hi there,

My name is Nina and I live in Bottrop, Germany since I first saw the light of life. Bottrop is not such a big city but it is located in the Ruhrgebiet which means that you can reach a lot of bigger cities like Essen or Oberhausen very fast.
I love to go out for finding some hidden treasures (geocaching), reading books (e.g. Richard Laymon), meeting my friends and family as well as doing a close combat “fight” called Krav Maga.

I got to know about postcrossing during my holidays at the North Sea (when I bought a postcard) and really loved the idea of sending around postcards to make other people smile all over the world.
Postcards are such wonderful things and I regret that most people quit sending same. As almost everybody is just showing holiday pictures on their facebook account or is sending messages via whats app my mailbox more or less only get feed off with bills or advertisings.
So I hope that I will not only make you happy with sending postcards but that also my mailbox will be feeded with a lot of them :-)

For me it does not really matter what kind of postcard you are going to send. I like almost everything. Funny sayings and pictures are just as welcome as pictures from buildings and landscapes, animals and so on. Just send me a card which you would also like to receive :-) But please do not send free promotinal cards. For me the joy of receiving one and the idea that you took time to send me a postcard is more than enough.

I would be very happy if you could state a date on the postcard. Further it would be great if you could write down some sentences e.g. something about you or the city where you live, your favourite saying/quote or song. In case you would like to write something in your native language I would also be happy (but please kindly also translate it into English so that I will be able to understand it :-)). Last but not least please do not put the postcard into an envelope. I love to receive them in their original way :-)

Thanks and Happy Postcrossing!

Regards,

Nina
