Hi, how are you?

My name is Ileana. I live with my partner and my elderly pug Otto von Trondheim in Berlin, capital city of Germany. I'm queer and I grew up with/ because of indie music (The Decemberists, The Mountain Goats, Leonard Cohen and many more). I'm also into Animal Crossing, illustration, outsider art, neon lights, mountains, dumpster fires, graphic novels, Halloween, meteors, children's books, Twin Peaks, queer artists, Donna Wilson, vintage stuff, birbs, science/ natural history, David Shrigley, Andy Goldsworthy, sarcasm, cute things. Uuh and I love boring postcards (à la the collections of photographer Martin Parr).

I am working in a small bookstore, I feel at home in libraries and I enjoy reading, reading and reading. I love (vegan) food, dogs (all animals, actually), ghost stories, I love roaming the streets and traveling Europe and the world.

Small, weird things are dear to my heart. I would love it if you could tell me a little story from your life, maybe something weird, maybe a ghost story, maybe just everyday stuff.

Please send me a strange postcard showing something typical from the place where you live. Could be something to eat, a spooky place, a cool animal or other wonders and curiosities of the natural world (or of YOUR world!), a witch, a Pokémon, a bad photo of your country's royalty etc. Big dream: a postcard with a random Japanese mascot <3.

P.S.: I would LOVE it if you could tell me a short ghost story. I adore them all, doesn't matter if the ghost turned out to be something else entirely. I'm a sceptic, I love the idea of ghosts but I don't believe at all. No, actually I believe in the power of human imagination! So please tell me your ghost story <3.
