About Jeannie...

Heya! Jeannie here. I'm glad fate (or maybe just randomness) led you here. From the Philippines, I wish you Mabuhay! (Long live!)

I'm an undergraduate college student and life's never been this good. I keep learning more each day and I continue to meet and befriend new people. So, now you're a part of my stress-filled adventure (kidding!). On a more serious note, thank you for existing and for being a Postcrosser. By sending postcards, you send a part of you to someone from the other side of the world — and that to me, is one of the happiest parts of life. Thank you because you'll get to share a part of you with me. (See how cheesy I can get?)

I speak English, Filipino, and a little bit of French. My French can probably get me from one destination to another during a trip to French-speaking countries, but no, I probably won't be able to express my deepest feelings the way I would in English. I play the violin. I'm not a virtuoso, but I try to practice whenever school work gets light. After my undergrad, I hope to pursue med school because it means so much to me to help people stay strong and happy. I know this sounds cheesy again, but at the end of my life, I want to look back and know I made a difference no matter how small.

So, you're probably wondering what kind of postcard to send me. Hmm, anything really! But if you're looking for something specific, this is my list: Harry Potter, architecture, classical instruments/music, dogs, ocean, Disney, quotes/calligraphy, city lights, clouds/skies, nature, paintings, horses.

Also, please tell me about yourself! I'd like to know about you. Tell me about your recent dream, or the weather while you're writing the postcard, or what makes you happy, or the last movie you watched that made you cry! :)

One more favor, please write a greeting in your native language. I enjoy learning new languages even though I just catch a few phrases.

Thank you and may you always be happy.
