Kamusta from Bicol! I'm Alex, a current animation student. I have a feisty ginger cat named Artemis. My main hobbies are writing poetry, prose, stories, and drawing cartoons, horror art, and painting surreal portraits. Though an art supplies hoarder, watercolours is forever my most beloved medium.

Music is my passion. I like to sing and play the guitar, ukulele, kalimba, and I'm learning music theory. I love metal, punk, emo, indie, classic rock, and Swedish pop. My top bands are TERMINA, Monuments, Heffron Drive, AC/DC, especially Pierce The Veil, FO&O, and Big Time Rush.

Some of my fave shows are Doctor Who, Young Royals, Skam, Hannibal, Penny Dreadful, British sitcoms (Blackadder, Spaced), panel shows (Cats Does Countdown, WILTY?, QI, Taskmaster), and anime. I also like horror, mystery/suspense, sci-fi, Wright, Kubrick, and Tarantino films.

I live for literature! I can't ever pick a favourite book, but some authors I love are Edgar Allan Poe, Neil Gaiman, Sylvia Plath, Arthur Doyle, HG Wells, Ray Bradbury, JRR Tolkien, Mario Puzo, Agatha Christie, Arthur Douglas, Stephen King, Isaac Asimov, Thomas Harris, Stieg Larsson. I'm fond of classics and find childhood comfort in Goosebumps, Horrible Histories, Archie Comics, Percy Jackson, Doraemon, The Little Prince, and Moomin.

My other interests include video games, skateboarding, calisthenics, psychology, history, old eras (Victorian, Medieval, Regency etc.), steampunk, alt fashion, folklore/mythology, animals. I love tea and lots of coffee, pairing with my sweet tooth. I'm enthralled by astronomy, learning the infinite wonders of our cosmos, and stargazing for inspiration.

Language is a huge fascination for me. I used to learn German ages ago, but I'm learning Swedish now. Jag är väl inte så jättebra på svenska än, but it's been so fun for me to study along with Scandinavian and Nordic countries. I hope to visit there soon to study and improve my skills. I also wish to travel the world someday.
