Sveiki, hello and grüß Gott :)

My name is indra and i'm originally from country where the red-white-red flag has the right proportions and colours- Latvia. But the mysterious ways of life have brought me to Austria about two years ago. And, i must admit, what Austria doesnt have in flag, it makes up for it in so much other ways. And now i have two countries I love and call my home.
But i uderstand that there are many people for whom it's important to have the stamp and the postcard representing the country from the same state, therefore I'm going with Austria. Although i'm keeping my rights to put in some good words about Latvia on my postcards ;)

General info about... hmm... let's put it like that- city girl breaking her way into country life. With every day getting more into nature, gardening, farm birds, crafts and design as the house and surroundings are still in need for renovation and a caring hand and besides all the material things also finding myself in a spiritual meaning.

As im new at this thing i would like to say that i'm not picky about the postcards. i just wanna get one!!! :D
But anyway i tried to pick out some catagories what i sure would like:
- b&w postcards
- nature, landmarks, national costumes, feasts, flags or anything else what is special about your country
- coffe, tea or any other hot and steaming drink as the winter is already knocking on the door
- food, maybe something from your countries national cuisine, preferably with a recipe included
- farmlife and farm animals, something vintage or traditional as im not much into exotic animals. so no crocodile or ostrich farms ;)
- animals in general. maybe except cats. please do not get me wrong all the cat people- i adore cats too. it's just... well... other animals i like better
- funny ones but well... i have learned that the humor is a very delicate thing
- buildings, city lights, public transport (including bicycle)
- and if you are from Latvia just stick the stamp on a slice of Kelmenu rupjmaize ;)

Doesn't look that i'm not picky anymore, mm? :D
But i'm sure i will love to recieve any postcard, and even if it doesn't go under any of the categories i mentioned above, maybe it has something special what caught you eye and attention. And maybe you can write what exactly it was and i can also catch the same feeling :)
