About Eunice...

My name is Eunice,

I am a Biologist and I have a PhD in Science Communication. During the past few years I did things like scientific research, exhibition development, science communication, I studied the role of biodiversity in children books.
I’m addicted to learn, to create with my own hands and I am in love with the incomparable power of creativity. I’m what some call a “maker” and a “crafter”.
Among the things I love to do and learn, some have a special place in my life: sewing, patchwork, painting, music, knitting and printing. I was a ballet dancer for about 15 years and I sing in a choir for almost 14 years now. My dance soulmate is Isadora Duncan and my favourite composers are Bach, Beethoven, Brucker and Brahms.

I am a blogger. My website is www.therabbithole.pt. My blog is where I share my passions: handmade projects that fulfill my life, my research on manual processes to do things, the books from which I learn, the glimmerings of my creative journeys, my adventures in new learning and all the other things that make the best of my days.
My ambition is to inspire others to be creative everyday and to create narratives around the simple things of daily life.

For me postcrossing is a wonderful opportunity to connect to people around the world and learn about their countries and traditions.

I would love every postcard (except touchnote or something similar) you decide to send me. However, I do have my preferences:
- postcards picturing photos or illustrations of living beings, especially native species from your own country (I am a biologist so I love animals and plants but my favourite animals are foxes)
- postcards from libraries
- postcards from museums
- postcards picturing traditions from your country
- postcards picturing traditional crafts from your country
- postcards picturing illustrations of your country or city
- vintage postcards
- postcards picturing paintings from famous local painters
- postcards picturing Alice in Wonderland, Tim Tim, Lucky Luke or Asterix.
- postcards picturing ballet dancers or music composers

Please use beautiful stamps! I love to contemplate them!

In your card, I would be glad to read about your favorite animal, which job you wanted to have as a child (did it came true?) and about your biggest dream. What do you desire at most?
You may also tell me about your country, your town, your hobbies, etc!

Love,
Eunice
