Hello! My name is Valentina, I live in Belarus, in the beautiful city of Hrodna! I love my city very much, because it has preserved many ancient houses and temples, and there are many cozy courtyards where you can walk for hours. And in our city there is the oldest clock mechanism in Europe - in a church called Farny.

I love nature very much, since childhood I loved to walk through forests and parks, watching what was happening around me. But my greatest passion in recent years has been birds. I just love them! I am a bird watcher and keep checklists of the birds I encounter on the ebird website (this also helps the international scientific community). I also read books on ornithology and talk to bird lovers like me. In 2023, my little dream came true - I took part in bird ringing.

I also really like to read - science fiction, fantasy and books about nature are my favorites, but I can also read books of other genres. I love the architecture of cities, I really like the architecture of religious buildings and ancient houses. Sometimes I try to cook dishes from different cultures and nations - it broadens my horizons.
