About Eduard...

Dear Postcrossing friend

I am a collector of postcards with stamps. (Call me Eduard.)

Send me a card you would receive yourself. Have you a card from an event, an action, people doing something?

I like as well cards with text printed in your language (with translation) or castles, waterfalls and fishermen/women.

But towns and landscapes are ok to, even freecards.

Cards for Xmas, Easter and for my birthday (July 22)are welcome.

I like my postcards written and stamped. I prefer A6 format cards (10X15 cm), they fit better in my special postcrossing card book(s).

Nice stamps makes me smile, but I do not collect or exchange loose stamps.

X-MAS-CARDS: Every year I send X-mas-cards from Bethlehem (SWITZERLAND) with a new stamp and a special obliteration. Send me your addresse and then a thank-you-card, when you get card at X-mas.

My "town" Ecublens is very close to Lausanne, canton de Vaud, in frenchspeaking Switzerland. (Postcrossing cannot put my postbox in the right Ecublens, so I choose Renens.)

I was born in 1937 in the germanspeaking town of Bern. (I was a teacher in Bern and Athens.) Since 1967 I am living with my family (2 big boys) near Lausanne. (I was working as journalist at the Swiss Institute for the Prevention of Alcohol- and other Drug-Problems.)

Our apartement is on the 7th floor with a nice view to the Jura, the Alps, to the Lake Geneva (Lac Léman), and France. (But trees and buildings are growing and reducing the view a bit.)
