About emodonnell...

Hello :-)

My name is Emily and I love craft, knitting, history, geography, op shopping, my pets, music and retro things. I would love to receive any type of postcard from you :-)

If you could find any of these postcards (in no particular order) it would be wonderful!:
- old soviet cards (especially new years ones/ones that look 'christmassy'!! or space race cards!)
- vintage/retro (preferably not reproductions)
- linen postcards
- quirky / strange cards
- kitsch / tacky cards
-cats, dogs, unicorns, horses, flamingos, eagles, dinosaurs, wolves and donkeys
- retro or art deco houses, terrace houses, old buildings, nice doors/windows
- bing crosby (I'm a big fan)
- moomin
- barbapapa
- krtek
- cheburashka
- studio ghibli (especially spirited away!)
- your favourite childhood cartoon, fairytale or book
- lord of the rings
- nightmare before christmas
- illustrations by Edward Gorey
- pictures of lots of christmas decorations or vintage decorations
- political leaders (I would love an obama card!)
- british royalty (the Queens Jubilee or William and Kates wedding would be super!)
- fiep westendorp
- Noëlle Smit (+ other illustrators like this style)
- Mount Rushmore
- Laika the space dog (I would be so incredibly happy if i received one of these!!!)
- Curt Teich postcards
- tall tale postcards

A lot of these are hard to find and I am very happy to receive whatever you would like to send me :-)

If you don't know what to write please tell me a bit about your country and your way of life or a bit about yourself. Or you could write an interesting fact about your country, or your favourite place in your town. Or I would love it if you drew a little picture!
I would also love it if you wrote something in your own language and then translated it in english :-) thanks!

thanks for reading my awfully long profile! I look forward every day to finding a postcard in my mail box :-)
