Hi, my name is Elin, I'm 16 years old and I live in the Dutch countryside. It rains a lot, though in the summer we do have beautiful sunsets here. We also have a very flat landscape (no mountains/hills) and lots of just grassland.

I live with my parents, my 9-year-old sister, and my pets (a cat and a guinea pig).

I have a lot of hobbies; I like to read, draw, paint, cook, garden, write, and hike (and many other things).

My favorite book is Never Let Me Go and my favorite series is The Office (American version). I also enjoy watching Studio Ghibli and old Disney films.

Things that make me laugh and smile are my pets, family, and friends. My family and I like to joke around and we do lots of playfights. On the weekend we like to do walks on the beach or in the forest.

When I'm alone the rain and sunshine make me smile or the beautiful view we have in our garden or from our window. Looking at beautiful artworks also make me happy. I like pretty and dreamy paintings like those from Monet.

Honestly, I don't really mind what kind of postcard you send to me. I'm fine with whatever you choose to send. If you have no idea what kind of card to send, you can always look at my favorites :)

I do however really love stamps, so if you have a nice stamp from your country that would be great!
