Hello! My name is Helen, I'm 26 years old and live in Yekaterinburg, Russia. My city is situated in the Ural mountains close to the border between Europe and Asia and is famous for its buildings in the style of constructivism.

I studied philology and linguistics and now I teach English at the university and am writing my thesis. I'm very much interested in literature, foreign cultures and languages (I hope to speak many of them some day!). I also enjoy travelling and taking photos (but then usually put off printing them), listening to music and dancing (I used to study swing dancing and still remember something).

I would be glad to receive any postcard - one with a view of your town, country or just a nice picture. I especially like Moomins (and have probably read all books about them :)) and other cute illustrations; architecture; lanterns; plants, birds and other wildlife and lots of other interesting things that haven't come to my mind ;)

It will be great if you tell me something about yourself - your life, things that you like doing or an interesting little fact about the place where you live!
