Hi, my name is Lia. I live with my husband in a small village in the northern part of the Netherlands. My husband and I have our own company. We are business consultants, focusing on quality systems, safety and improvement. Work is one of my favourite things to do. I also love to read, watch good films and do crossword puzzles.

I love films from the 1950's and 1960's, you know, the ones that were made to make everyone forget about WWII and were all about happiness and fun. It makes me a big fan of Hollywood stars like Doris Day, Audrey Hepburn, Cary Grant, Bing Crosby, Marilyn Monroe, Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly, Errol Flynn, Grace Kelly, Jane Russell, Esther Williams, Rock Hudson, etc, etc.

You can also make me very happy with inspiring quotes, citations, slogans, sayings, statements, wise words, etc. I love cards that will inspire me, that will make me think or smile or aware. Please only in a language I can understand - Dutch, English or German!!
