About Florian...

Hey, glad you've made it to my page. Nice to meet you, whoever you are. My name is Florian, and I'm a 30 year old PhD student living in the beautiful city of Zürich in Switzerland. Till the end of 2011 I've been sent to Poland, so I'll send postcards from there :) and btw... I'll spend Christmas in Romania, so dont wonder if you just might get a postcard from there.. lol

I love traveling and meeting new people, and postcrossing is an easy and cheap way of doing that. For when I want to travel for real, I've got my couchsurfing account, which is like the best website ever (well.. its fighting for 1st place with postcrossing actually).

I'm open for pretty much every kind of postcard (especially if they are funny), as long as you like it - you're even allowed to write me why you like it, in that white square on the back side of the postcard. I prefer not to get typical tourist cards, but if the image is something stunning, or funny, that's fine. And if all you have to send is tourist cards, I understand. Even the ones you made yourself are great, as long as they have a certain "je ne sais quoi".

I would love to read something in your native language (not necessarily with translation - that's what Google translate is for). It would nice to learn something about you or your family, if you'd like to share. Of course, you can send me more... like a letter or a package... :D (in that case with preferably with a return address, so I can return the favor).

*Anxiously checking his mailbox*

Happy postcrossing :-)

Expired postcards:
CH-120326 to ycats from U.S.A.

P.S. Regarding the expired cards topic: if you send me a card and I don't register it within a reasonable time frame, please let me know. Only one postcard you've sent me got lost till now, but there's a second time for everything, and I would rather not end up on an 'expired postcards' list :)
