Hello there,my name is Chris,from the southernmost city in the Philippines known as Zamboanga. It is the only region in the country where diversity is very palpable. People from different cultures and religion live in harmony. It is the third oldest city with 800, 000 population. It is also known as Asia's Latin city because its dialect is a mixture of Spanish and the local dialects.

I love collecting stamps since i was a child, and while browsing websites for philately brought me into this wonderful world of postcrossing.

I am into running, oil painting, photography and collecting art pieces and souvenirs from any country.

I happen to love travelling. I have been to Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Bhutan,India, Nepal, Hongkong, Macau, Mainland China, The Holyland, Jordan, Egypt, Barcelona , Santiago, Milan, Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Everytime i travel in a specific country, i usually send postcards of that country to my parents and for myself. The reasons of which- is to collect the used postcards and the stamps mounted on them; i will also have a very pleasant memory of that particular place and at the same time help preserve the postal services of that particular country. Very few people now use the post office for sending mails or messages because of the internet.

I am not very particular with what kind of postcards to receive. As long as it is about the culture, traditions and sceneries of that particular country, ill definitely enjoy it. And as long as theres a postage stamp mounted on the postcard. no metered mails please.
