I am a Geography teacher. I like to study about world cities, and physical landscapes such as mountains, glaciers interest me. Singapore is a concrete jungle and highly built-up area.

Dec 2015: Antarctica! Thus I have visited all s-e-v-e-n continents, stepping foot on the white continent was just beyond words!

Jun 2016: Hiking in the Himalayas in Nepal

Dec 2016: swimming at the top of Victoria Falls (Zambia/Zimbabwe)

Jun 2017: going back in time in Cuba

Dec 2017: Iran (super safe country!) and the Caucasus countries of Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan.

Jun 2018: Colombia (Andes mountains to Caribbean beach to Amazon rainforest)

Dec 2018: nuclear incident site of Chernobyl, Ukraine

Dec 2019: Central America overland from Mexico to Costa Rica.

Dec 2021: first trip since Covid! Spain (Catalunya), Andorra, Italy (from Sicily to Venice), San Marino, Vatican

Dec 2022: Cruise to Bahamas, Jamaica and Haiti
