Hello, I am Elmar.
Since a few years I live in Hoorn, a lovely City just north of Amsterdam in the Netherlands.
Born and grown up in the deep south of Germany I exchanged hills and forrests for lots of water and windmills.
What was skiing now is sailing.
I'm married and have the most beautiful daughter...at least as far as I'm concerned.
Always loved travelling (real or on maps), stamps and postcards. When I learned about postcrossing it seemed to be tailormade for me.
Particularly I like maps on postcards and vintage style travel posters/advertising, but all other postcards are also welcome.
