About Stefan...

Hi, I am Stefan,

I'm a physicist, 34 years old.
My interests are books, nature (I try to learn about insects like grasshoppers and fireflies, but also landsnails and slugs, rainworms, woodlice, slime molds and lichens), botany, physics (hydrodynamics, plasma physics, space), programming (like computer simulations), electronics, kites, music ( piano Jazz, Electro, Independent Pop, classical music). I am also interested in fruit trees, like apple, pear, cherry, peach and other fruit trees which I graft and raise for fun.
I like gardening and try to advance urban gardening projects in my town (see https://ogv-neumarkt.de/urbaner-garten-neumarkt/).
I am a ham radio operator and enjoy sending waves around the globe. My callsign is DM4SG. Did you know, many ham radio operators and other radio stations send socalled QSL cards to listeners if you send them your reception report.
I do not really know many series or films (obviously, I prefer the radio and I love radioplays), but I like many Ghibli films very much. Getting a Ghibli card one day would be a dream!

I you need a clue, what kind of postcard you could to send to me,
you could look for a black&white card, a scenery, science and nature-related topics. Moreover a picture of your home region, city, of landscape or a sight is very welcome.
Please rather no cats, dogs and horses if possible (but other animals and especially insects will make my day) and rather no paintings or saisonal cards (like christmas cards).
But, you know, I'll be happy to hear from you anyway :) Thank you so much for participating in postcrossing!

And, maybe, could you write some of the text in your mother tongue? Even if do not know your language, I is fun to figure out the meaning for me. That makes postcrossing even more interesting.

I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
