About Dee...
hey there.
]i am a 19 year old science student.
i've always been fascinated with the idea of receiving mails from people all around the world. i never really thought much about it until i found out about a year ago that postcrossing.com exists.
initially, i only sent out a postcard after a month of registering it. soon enough, i got hooked. however, time hasn't really been on my side these few months.
but a year after i started postcrossing (march 2014), i am finally back in the game :-)
i guess i'm a pretty visual person. i like/love to see colourful and beautiful things.
i have no preference regarding the types of postcards to receive, as long as they're not torn and tattered (unless purposely/designed).
if possible, do say "hi" in your native language, or teach me a thing or two. i'm particularly interested in Japanese, although i only scored a C+ in my most recent Japanese exam... (SO DISAPPOINTING)
hopefully within these 5-6 years, i'd be financially independent and physically capable of going on a road trip up to Europe. planning is ongoing as of now. so if you have any tips on backpacking/road trippin', do not hesitate to let me know :-)
whenever convenient, please write down the date of posting the postcard, as well as the temperature in your country/area. in singapore, it's always summertime so unfortunately i don't have the luxury of experiencing snow/ seeing maple leaves/ etc.
i would also be interested in your favourite quote/poem/sayings. my favourite one at the moment is by marianna paige.
"terrible things happen to good people everyday.
consequentially i am not one of the good people.
i am one of the terrible things."
i would greatly appreciate it if stamps, instead of labels, were used. i wouldn't mind if you used a combination of both though.
lastly, thank you so much for reading through this word of text. i look forward to hearing from you!! :-)
p/s; i will register every postcard i receive. however, do not hesitate to contact me if i haven't registered your postcard after it has expired.
