In a nutshell:
Born in gin-city, but since decades living on the Veluwe. Rather bald with lavishly covered upper lip, middle of age. Photographer of portraits, pen and ink writer of stories, bigreader of books. Drinker of espresso, proud owner of pizza oven, gardenfool with green fingers, keeper of songbirds, and camping with tiny trailer. Extraordinary in love with my beautiful wife, but above all and most of all, a full time Christian.

Profession:
Photographer, writer, illustrator, dreamer.

Physical description:
Almost 190 centimetres, or six feet two inches, weighing 85 kilo-grams, 180 pounds or 13 stone. All this is depending where you live. In some grey history I was an ultra-redhead, but now bald with some bristles, lavishly grown moustache turned white and rest of body covered with blond-ish hair. Scar on upper right leg.

Personality:
Patient, loyal, caring, cautious, accurate, harmonious, introvert.

Habits and Mannerisms:
Can sit on the couch and read, browse the internwebs, listen to music and write. For hours on end. Days if I get the chance. Wearing year-round socks (not the same pair, obviously) and slippers, when in the house. Always a stain somewhere in his clothes. Bumps his head almost every day. Particularly keen in sleeping in, every day. Likes to sit in front of the wood stove. Not smoking, nor drinking (too much) since May 2015.

Interests:
Photography, reading, music, gardening, playing ukulele.

Publications:
Over the past two decades several publications in magazines, group- and solo exhibitions, but that was all photography. My writings are recently published on a WordPress website and on my computers.

Background:
Born in Schiedam 1965, elementary school. Moved to Harderwijk 1973, elementary school, secondary school. Horticultural school Utrecht, graduated professional gardener 1985. Military service Royal Military Police (MP) until 1987. Worked at a garden centre until 1989, got married in 1988, moved to a new house in Harderwijk, worked at another garden centre until 1990, a cleaning company until 2002, a consulting agency until 2003. Got divorced and moved to Hoenderloo in 2002, to Uddel and Apeldoorn in 2003. Worked with a health and safety agency until 2005, with a cleaning company until 2010, in a photography shop until 2013, and to the present day at a health and safety agency as a safety advisor. Professional photographer since 2009, writer and illustrator since 2015. Married again and moved to Nunspeet in 2013.
