My name is Danielle and I live in Bergen op Zoom, the Netherlands. I share my apartment with my cat, George. When I'm not at home, I'm at my boyfriend's.

I read about postcrossing in Flow magazine, and it immediately peaked my interest. I love getting to know new cultures and receiving mail :-)

Fortunately, I had the opportunity to live abroad for several years and got to know different cultures. I lived in Germany (Köln & Oberhausen) and the USA (LA & Chicago), but I've been back in the Netherlands for quite some time now. As a teacher at a hotel school, I get to combine my love for the hospitality industry and educating students. In my spare time I play in a theatre group and I love to cook for my friends & family.

I'm looking forward to sending postcards all over the world and I hope you'll enjoy receiving them!

Cards I would love to receive? Home made postcards, modern art (expressionism, der Blaue Reiter, etc.), architecture,, other artsy cards or cards that depict your culture (i.e. regional clothing, architecture, landscape, etc.)

I am not a big fan of the multi-view touristcards. Further, I would love to know your favorite quote/saying and why. Thanks in advance for your writings!
