Hello! I'm David and I live in Canberra in Australia. It's a beautiful place next to the Australian Alps (which have snow at the moment!) and is brilliant for bushwalking and birdwatching, two things that I really love doing. There are amazing sunsets over the Brindabella mountains in the evening when I bike back from work. I'm a bit of a dreamer and I love travelling and travelling spaces, especially airports and railway stations; and I quite like electricity pylons, typefaces, and road signs. I also love improvising on the piano and listening to all kinds of music. Playing as I write this is something by the Hungarian band Muzsikás. I'm also trying to learn Hungarian. I work at a university in Canberra and teach and write about travel.
