About David...

Hello:

I prefer to travel by car (flying is just changing locations - and it's difficult to take the dogs) and I enjoy stopping every interesting thing/tourist trap/roadside attraction/National or other interesting park, et cetera - and often buy a postcard. And ever since I was young, I have been someone who buys more postcards than I send.

In the summer of 2014, my wife showed me this site and I thought I'd give it a try. I had several hundred cards I've collected over the years, plus the new ones I still buy each trip, and now have an avenue for using them.

As for receiving, I'm not at all picky. Send me those ones you have that no one else wants (advertisements, naughty cards, all blank, drawings/cartoons, handmade, in or out of an envelope... really, *anything* is fine as long as your postal service will accept it).

Alas, I only speak and read English - a failing of mine, and our educational system, of which I am ashamed.

***** EXPIRED CARD TIP *****
Just send another card with the same number!

Listing the expired card numbers on your profile does not help as the recipient only learns about a card when it arrives.

Rather than listing your lost cards, simply send another one with the same number (and repeat this every 60 days until one arrives).

When I send backup cards, I use an envelope with a return address so I will hopefully get it back if the letter is undeliverable.

So far this method has promptly cleared every one of my expired cards.
