About Friederike...

Hi!

これを読めるなら、出来れば日本語で書いてください~!!

My name is Friederike and I'm in my twenties. I used to study East Asian Studies with my main focus on Japan at university. Thank to that I go the chance to do an exchange semester in Osaka. Recently I also spent six months in Foshan, China to work in a primary school and right now I work for a company that produces notebooks and stamp albums.

My preferences in general:
- illustration > photo (I do like both though)
- NO typical tourist cards
- please NO folded greeting cards in envelopes

Motives I would especially love:
- RAIN (!!!!!!!!!)
- folklore, myths, epics
- fashion (haute couture, traditional costume,...)
- paper lanterns
- hydrangeas
- movies
- paper cuttings, woodcuts
- couples (holding hands)
- people in everyday scenes (historical or modern)
- dance
- misty mountains
- old private houses
- old trees
- American comic heroes
- wolves, foxes, falcons, eagles or any kind of wild cats (from your own country)
- The Dome of Light in Kaohsiung
- spirit houses (ศาลพระภูมิ)

Favourite artists:
- Alfons Mucha
- Caspar David Friedrich, William Turner
- Martta Wendelin
- Sergey Solomko
- feebee, konatsu
- Garyung (가령)
- Nick Knight
- Banksy
- Mizuki Shigeru

Historical/ mythical/ fairy tale figures I'd like to have cards of:
- 平清盛
- Jeanne d'Arc
- characters from Chinese classics and explanations about them
- 昔話、怪談 (~特にきつね)
- Garuda
- Nine-tailed foxes (구미호)
- The Little Mermaid
- Snow White

Users from the NETHERLANDS: Can you maybe write some easy sentences in Dutch? I want to try and see how much I can understand. :)

Also, I'm looking for POSTCARD PENPALS to swap art and illustration cards with. If you're interested, leave me a message!

私は日本の色んな方言がすごく面白いと思いますので、方言を使っている日本人の方が方言の言葉を説明してくれたら嬉しいです。関西弁なら普通に方言で書いても大丈夫です。よろしくお願いします~
