About connor16...

Hi, I am a 28 year old who finds the art of writing postcards a great source of peace and pleasure. I use a fountain pen (Faber Castell) when writing and it is so much better, not to mention classier, than a ball pen. Get one! Fountain pens separate the men from the boys and allow you to cultivate your penmanship, something lacking in emails.

Any card that you choose to send will be greatly treasured. However, if you are stumped as to which card to send, I would love cards on the following subjects:

Your local church/cathedral
Vintage postcards
Historical buildings.
Steam trains
Postcards that depict your local food!
Art postcards
Cards depicting dragons, centaurs (fantasy, etc.)
Anime cards, esp. bishonen cards for my drawing references. Also, Snoopy cards and cards of the other Peanuts gang!
Postcards that depict your culture, especially local culture
Anything sublime, thought provoking......use your imagination for this one!

I also collect official postal stationeries (issued by the Post Office) such as prepaid commemorative envelopes, maximum cards, stamp cards, etc. Even aerogrammes!

Please, please do not send postcards in envelopes. Write on them!

If it is not too much, I would appreciate it if you could use commemorative/special issue stamps rather than the ordinary definitive ones. I am a stamp collector and a stamp postally used is of much more interest than a clean specimen sitting in an album. Besides, you will be keeping your postal authorities happy by supporting their new stamp issues.

I am not too keen on multi view cards/cards with small prictures. Please try to avoid these type of cards, if possible.

If I should be selected to send you a postcard, you wouldn't be disappointed.

P.S. It's almost Christmas and most postal authorities will be issuing christmas stamps. I would really appreciate it if you could stamp my cards with the latest christmas stamp. Thank you in advance.
