--note out of the last 5 cards I sent 3 are still traveling. I've decided to deactivate my account. That was rather disappointing.

I live in a rural part of Japan on the island of Kyushu. Kyushu is the southern most island in the main chain of Japanese islands. Our town sits in a little valley surrounded by mountains of pine, bamboo and cedar trees. Rivers, lakes, ponds and waterfalls are abundant!

I love walking about the countryside and exploring temples and shrines. I also love reading, blogging, gardening and yoga.

I'd love to get post cards that show:

gardening or gardening related
books or book/reading related
country cottages
country scenes
crochet or crochet related
scenes from your hometown or your country
nature scenery
Sewing or sewing related
Coffee/ coffee related
Hiking/ hiking related

I'd rather not have cards with cats and dogs, please keep them for someone who would appreciate them :)

However- if you are not able to send postcards with the above pictures....it's OK! Just send something that YOU feel is nice! This should be fun...not stressful!

I think the message is important too...so please write something about yourself on the card, or about the area where you live!

Please don't put the card in an envelope-I'd like to receive it stamped and written on~!

***Because sending mail is expensive in Japan I only send post cards without an envelope. I also try my best to fulfill post card preferences but because of a limited supply of cards here in the countryside, I may not always be able to do that, but I always choose the best cards from the selection available and something that matches your profile in some way ***
