About Clare...
I am a divorced grandmother, living on a farm on the north shore of Lake Erie with a male companion, three dogs and seven cats. I am a semi-retired mixed media (chiefly fibre) artist. I like to read, sew, knit cook and pursue various art forms in my home studio.
I spent most of my life in my birth place, Windsor Ontario, before moving to this nearby rural community 13 years ago. I have also lived for a time in Toronto, Ontario where my family originated and which was always a sort of second home.
Southwestern Ontario has a "temperate" climate which varies from very hot and damp to very cold and damp, especially here on the lakeshore.
