About Chrissy...

Hello, my name is Christine (or Chrissy for short) and I studied Multimedia & Communication and Social Pedagogy. I work as a school social worker now.
My favourite hobbies are photography (especially nature and landscape photography), hiking (mostly in the Alps), reading (fantasy) and archery. I'm very interested in nature, history, mythology and languages.

Tourist-postcards are very welcome (e.g. sights, landscape, native wildlife)! I like getting to know other places in the world through postcards.
But you can also choose other postcards and motifs! I like photographs as well as illustrations/realistic paintings.
Possible motifs and topics are:
- landscape/countryside
- Nature and native wildlife. Also animals in general, but especially toads. I love toads and other amphibians. :-) I also like birds and reptiles. (I kept budgies as pets for the most part of my life. <3)
- castles, historical districts and sites
- old maps, illustrated maps
- Aurora Borealis, starry sky
- mythology, legends, fairy tales
- fantasy
- literary postcards from Reynard Cards
- If you're from New Zealand: A Kakapo postcard! Or any other native wildlife/nature/landscape postcard or one with those animal road signs. ;)

I also like (coloured) wood/copperplate engravings, etchings, lithographs or drawings of flora, fauna, places, mythology etc. and vintage looking collages.
And I'm always interested in postcards with matching stamps.
Anyway, I'll be glad about all kinds of postcards and I love to be surprised! The list above is just supposed to give you some suggestions, I don't want to narrow down your choices.
Also, please tell me something on the postcard. You could tell me about what's on the postcard, your town, the area where you live, your country, an interesting place, yourself... whatever you like. If you feel like drawing or telling me a poem etc., then feel free to do so!
One more thing: Please write the date on the postcard! Thank you! :-)
