About chinchillas...

Hello. I've been collecting postcards for a long time. The types of postcards I like are vintage photography of landscapes, a city's main attractions or the country's important writers, filmmakers, artists, etc. I'm not very fond of photographs with fancy filters or effects that look more like advertising photography. I also like home made postcards, illustrations, comics, humor cartoons, reproductions of art works and kitsch postcards. If you can find old postcards (pre 80s the better), that would be SUPER. I usually get postcards in thrift stores or street markets. Hawaii, New Zealand, Australia and anything related to Polynesian culture is a favorite. And I prefer to send the postcard WITHOUT an envelope. The stamp on the card makes it look better ;) Thanks.

Oh! I used to live with four chinchillas, but eventually they got sick/old and passed away to a fluffier existence. That little furry chin in the pic was Pip, my second male chinchilla. Isn't he beautiful? He passed away in 2006 but I remember him dearly. I'm also very fond of cute animals. Feel free to send postcards of furry or not so furry critters, and I will do the same if that's your thing.
