About Candy...

My name is Candy and I am from Taiwan.
I spend most of my academic life in the U.S; I went to middle and high school in Virginia Beach, Virginia then moved to Savannah, Georgia for college to study production design (costume design concentration). I have great passion in art so I have quite a few masterpiece painting, sculpture and architecture postcards in my collection. Art history is my favorite subject, I am hoping to get to visit Europe one day to see whatever I learned from the textbook to came alive!

Even though I love art and design but I am currently working at a pharmaceutical company in Taiwan. My dream job is to work at art auction company or in the museum. So if you have any experiences in these fields, I would love to hear your story!

I like traveling, but I haven't had that much time which is the major reason why I collecte postcards, so I get to know more about the places that I have never been to.
I also like to read, and my subject range is pretty broad so any recommendation on books is welcome! I often use the postcard that I received as bookmark :)

Postcards that I am interested in:
- Those that can express your city/country or the culture
- Famous art works from YOUR COUNTRY (Architecture/Painting/Sculpture etc.)
- Maxicards
- Landscape
- Traditional clothing/costume of your country
- Vintage
- The New Yorker, Vogue or Vanity Fair series of cards

Postcards that I am NOT interested in, at all:
- Cards from another country than where you are living or from
- Animal
- Cartoon/Animated character
- Seasonal
- Ad/Free cards
- Quotes
- Floral (Unless it is something very special from your country, like Tulips from Netherland)
- Your selfies... (No kidding, I have seen it on the postcard gallery before)

I love pretty stamps on my postcard, so no envelope please. If you could put on as many unusual stamps as possible on the card, you would literally made my day!!
Please tell me the weather/temperature in your current city, it is always interesting to know the weather of other places can be so different than Taiwan.

Don't know what to write? Here's some idea for you:
- Tell me about the card
- Tell me about your job
- Tell me something about the city you live in, or your country
- What is your favorite book? What's the last book you read
- Your favorite artist
- Your hobbies

I would be extremely appreciated if you could look at my received card from your countries to make sure you don't send a card that I already have :)

Looking forward to the postcards that I'll be receiving around the world! Happy Postcrossing!
