My name is Casper and I was born in Holland (Netherlands) but my parents emigrated to Australia when I was 2 years old. Rosemary (my wife) and I have been married for 37 years and have a daughter and a son. We also have 5 grandsons ranging in ages from 1 to 9 years.
After more than 30 years of driving a taxi I have recently retired to the island of Tasmania, I now spend much of my time devoted to my boys (grandsons). Over the years I have developed a passion working with timber. My garage at home was designed to house 4 cars but it was always full of machinery and timber projects so I moved everything to a local "Men's Shed" where I have room to work.
Another passion I have is Light classical music. Big bands and orchestra leaders such as Daly wilson, Bert Keaempfert, and Andre Rieu are among my current favourites. I also enjoy watching old black and white movies.
I like cards with old movie stars,old cars, old buildings, and old machinery or tools. If you are unable to send one of these I will be happy to receive whatever card you send.
If you include your address I will happily send a Tasmanian card in return.
