About Chiara...

Hi,I'm Chiara and I'm from Sicily, the biggest italian island and I live in a little city with stunning sea.
I graduated in Art History, so I really like every kind of art, and I work as a Museum Educator.
During my free time I really like enjoying my beautiful sea, doing long walks, birdwatching, going to theatre, museums, exhibitions and cinema and taking photographs.. and I love cats and parrots (I have a five years old lovebird called Lila)!
I'm also very interested in anthropology and folklore, so if you want to write me something about your culture and traditions I will be very happy to read it!
I also really love to travel and in these occasions I always send postcards to my friends, I think postcards are the best souvenir ever! :)

Feel free to send whatever postcards you want, but if you want any suggestion I can tell you that in general my favourite ones have:

Typical landscape/ view of the city/ your sea
Traditional food
Traditional objects/clothes
Nice maps of your city/country, or maps of your subway
Local art/monuments/historical buildings/museums/design (medieval-modern-contemporary)
Images of tea or tea services, if drinking tea is traditional in your country (tea is another my great passion!! I'm very interested in the tea cerimonies and I love to try new kinds of blends)
typical animals of your country (in particular if they're bears, felines or parrots)
Pigeons

Have a look at my favorites if you want to have other ideas (the favorites are both wishlists and my best already received postcards, so please try to pay attention to not sending doubles)

In general I prefer NOT receive self printed postcards, sorry!

And last thing: don't forget to write the date please!!

Thank you so much and Happy Postcrossing, looking forward for your postcard!
Ciao! :)
